I went to London last month, and decided to go back to this place by the Hayward Gallery, that I’d been to a couple of years before. It was fascinating, all the designs from 2 years ago had been replaced with completely different ones.
Managed to just about recreate this shot that I did 2 years ago though! It’s the same composition yet the colours and patterns of the graffiti are different.

Holiday to Wales

I went on holiday to wales a couple of weeks ago, and took these photos while I was there. I hope they do something to counter the belief that Wales is dark and somewhere where it always rains! It can be quite beautiful

I’ve had several trips to Brighton since February, and I always make sure to take my camera with me when I do go. Here are a couple of my favourites, there are many more on Flickr.

Got a lot of catching up to do, haven’t blogged since February!

I also managed to miss out blogging my trip to see James Morrison at the Brighton Centre. He was excellent, really good live! Also managed to get some good photos of him, since I was quite close to the stage! He was supported by OneRepublic, who were great aswell!

An afternoon’s sailing

A couple of weeks ago I went to the Isle of Wight for the day, and took a few photos from the ferry on the return journey. There was a lot of activity on the water as we got closer and closer to the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour! I love this one of the yacht with the two forts in the distance.

Snapping at the beach

Today I went to a beach in Worthing and took some photos. This wasn’t helped by the rain showers that passed over every so often! But I did take a few that wouldn’t have existed if it wasn’t raining, so I should really be thankful!

Light lines 2

I love these photos I took in Brighton a few weeks ago. I forgot about them for a while, and rediscovered them yesterday. I put a black and white filter on and adjusted the contrast, and I think they look much more effective!

This effect was achieved by setting my camera to a slow shutter speed, then moving the camera while it was taking the photo.

Definitely a future project!
